Steve has worked in the network cabling industry for over 10 years and is BICSI qualified. He joined our team as a regional/project manager since 2001 before being appointed as our new MD in January 2008
Steve has a hands-on knowledge of all things electrical since he worked as an electrician for 7 years before moving into the network cabling industry. He eventually progressed into project management, which has allowed him to build a good working knowledge of all current networking protocols and standards within the industry.

Darren has 18 years experience in network installations working on a range of structured cabling systems in many different environments, including managing the teams that installed the first Panduit 10Gb over copper cabling system in the UK.
He first entered the IT industry in 1990 after obtaining a business management & computer science diploma. His initial direction was with IT hardware but he soon progressed into network installations in order to offer a complete solution to his clients.
Darren is Prince2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) practitioner and a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health.

 

Bruce Evans - Regional Operations Manager Wakefield

Bruce started life as an apprentice-trained electrician before moving into the network cabling sector in 1997 as a senior engineer. He has been predominately involved in installing voice, network cabling and power including various types of containment in local businesses and schools.

Bruce joined Cable-Talk in the Wakefield office as a project supervisor in October 2001 before progressing to the regional operation’s manager role. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a busy technical office including staff development, training and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Lucy joined Cable-Talk as an administrator in 2000 after graduating from University in Bristol with a degree Business Decisions Analysis. In her role as General Manager, she is responsible for all our administration and accountancy as well as assisting the directors with the day-to-day running of the company.

Lucy is the first point of contact for clients in our London office and is vastly knowledgeable about anything to do with Cable-Talk.
