New Management Team Appointed
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Leeds-based investment group Great Northern Solutions (GNS), who acquired Cable-Talk’s total share capital in January 2008. GNS is a company formed by three extremely experienced senior business executives, David Thompson, Keith D. Madeley and Dr Jon Harris, who between them have over 90 years of executive experience in building, running and financing companies. The £2.8m deal was backed by the Co-operative Bank and Partnership Investment Finance (PIF).
David Thompson said that the new business pipeline for Cable-Talk for the next 12 months is “very robust and we have plans to open a further office in Scotland alongside our existing offices in Wakefield and London."
Andrew Wright, PIF's investment manager said: "The prospects for Cable-Talk are very encouraging and the team from Great Northern Solutions brings a wealth of business experience.
Richard Gandy, business development manager at Co-operative Bank, said: "Cable-Talk is a strong business with an excellent track record of growth since it was set up 12 years ago. The new management team is well placed to develop the business further."
