Aug 09 Ghana Datacentre supplied by Cable-Talk
A Brand-Rex CAT6 plus cabling solution from their Data Centre range of products, was shipped to a UK customer for use in a new Datacentre in Ghana.
This consisted of new high density ½ u 24 Way UTP Copper patch panels & High density 1 u 48 Way Duplex OM3 LC Fibre panels.
The Brandrex products are engineered to provide the ideal cabling solution for the data centre environment, offering Reliability, Space Efficiency & Modularity.As part of the proposed design the structured cabling was colour coded to offer both ease of installation and an easy visual check for moves, adds & changes. Both the copper & fibre cabling has been installed in different colours identifying diverse routing which offers resilience, thus reducing any possible down time. In order to meet the strict delivery schedule Cable-talk procured fibre cable with the standard black sheath, which was then over- sheathed to offer the required colour solution.
